The Australian gambling supplier Aristocrat’s apps for iPhone and iPad are some of the most popular play-for-fun mobile games around, earning more than 475,000 downloads so far. The company has just released its sixteenth addition to the range, a new slot dubbed Diamond Destiny, which is available from the iTunes Store.
“This new game is a first for us on a couple of fronts,” said Aristocrat Director of Mobile Development Scott Milford this week. “To begin with, Diamond Destiny is our first app to use standalone progressive meters. Second, and perhaps more notably, Diamond Destiny is our first app patterned on Aristocrat’s popular Viridian Hybrid Stepper platform.
“Our Viridian Hybrid line was introduced late last year, and the games have been generating a plenty of player attention. It made sense for us to start bringing these popular games over to the mobile space. Casino patrons have responded really well to Diamond Destiny and to the hybrid Steppers in general, so we expect this will be a hit with our mobile customers,” he added.
Diamond Destiny is a fun throwback to an old school traditional slot theme filled with Cherries, Bars and 7s. There is a 4-Level Progressive Jackpot and two bonus features.
In the free game feature, players select a door to reveal up to 20 free games with a win multiplier. The Ultra Spin feature can be triggered within the free game feature, where bonus reels replace the triggering reels. These bonus reels spin horizontally and contain credit values and diamonds. Players collect six or more diamonds to win one of four progressives.
