HTML5 mobile and tablet games developer Core Gaming will boost its games inventory and reap other commercial advantages following the signing of a partnership agreement with fellow game developer Odobo.
Odobo’s development and marketing business model encourages developers to use the firm’s Game Development Kit to produce regulatory-compliant games and distribute them to operators through the Odobo Marketplace business-to-business app store.
The developers then garner royalties from gaming revenues and can earn additional affiliate revenues by driving their own player traffic to operators using their games.
Justin Chamberlain, managing director for Core Gaming, revealed Friday that the legendary stunt rider Evel Knievel will form the theme for the first collaborative effort by the two companies – a video slot.
“Odobo simplifies and supports every element of how we produce and monetise HTML5 games within the real-money gambling industry,” Chamberlain said. “With Odobo we will build a single client for each new game and can then licence it to any gaming operator on the Odobo platform.”
Chamberlain said an additional value the partnership brings to the table is that Core Gaming will be able to use the Odobo Play consumer-facing portal as a marketing channel to promote its games with gaming operators as well as generating revenues by referring new players.
