A relative newcomer to the i-gaming business, 4-Score-Pro, has created a new style of card game for the iPhone and iPad, using a proprietary deck and gaining iTunes Store approval for the first game based on the concept.
According to the developer the new game, titled Home Card, has achieved quick success, being downloaded by card players in regions as disparate as Northern America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
Home Card combines some of the most appealing features of poker, blackjack, and craps, the developer claims. Using a unique deck of cards, players are offered a new experience: a casino card game that does not use the traditional 52-card deck.
The objective of the game is to defeat the computer player in the app. If the human player matches any number on more cards than the computer opponent, he or she wins. The game provides a few twists and turns to add to the entertainment value, and these are all covered in a video tutorial available with the game or on the 4scorepro.com website.
“For more than 200 years, the 52-card deck has been the only choice of playing cards in the West,” a company spokesman noted this week. This is particularly true in games such as Poker, Blackjack, Baccarat, and Pai Gow. This new deck of playing cards offers an exciting, new wealth-building platform.”
