The popularity of BetSoft’s relatively new slot SugarPop has prompted the online gambling games developer to expand its presence into the mobile channel through its ToGo series.
Like the original, SugarPop! ToGo incorporates elements that are new to slots gaming, offering five distinct worlds and twenty five individual levels of gameplay.
Anthony Locke, BetSoft’s head of product development said Monday that bringing SugarPop! to handheld devices has pushed the limits of HTML5, and that there are plans to introduce periodic expansion packs on the game to keep it fresh and captivating by adding additional worlds and special candies.
SugarPop! ToGo features a 5×5 grid of cascading candies in vivid high-definition colours. Consecutive wins earn points which progressively move the player through the levels of the multiple worlds, like the Cupcake Cottage and the Peanut Butter Plains.
Special Candy Pieces with 3D effects, such as the Lollipop which swirls the candies into new positions on the grid, will appear as the game progresses. With bonus background patterns to complete during regular play, SugarPop! ToGo offers many opportunities for big winnings.
“The desktop version of SugarPop! has been setting play session length records since its initial release,” Locke said. “The popularity of the game is unparalleled, and, as such, players have been clamouring for the mobile version.”
The mobile version of the game is available on iOS, Android and Windows Phone platforms. A demo version of the game is available on BetSoft’s website Betsoftgaming.com.
