Carbon Poker planning mobile launch

Arguably the largest operator on the Merge Poker Network, Carbon Poker, is to launch a mobile product after some intensive development work, according to a statement from the company Friday.

Final technology testing is apparently complete, and the company is now looking for players to give it more practical testing, albeit in play-for-fun mode.

However, prospective testers should be aware that the new product is only currently available on iPhone or iPod touch, running iOS 5.0 or newer.

Android and iPad clients will become available in the near future.

Existing Carbon Poker players interested in participating in the test are urged to email viphost@carbonpoker.ag with their user names and online handles.

The Carbon Poker statement notes that tournaments and a selection of poker variants are in the pipeline
