Online gaming software provider Microgaming has launched its popular online slot “Immortal Romance” to its Mobile Air client.
A first in the gaming industry, Microgaming said it will deliver significant performance improvements to graphics and usability utilising hardware acceleration, setting a new benchmark in mobile gaming.
The game on Mobile Air uses the mobile device’s hardware, directly targeting the Graphics Processing Unit instead of relying on the main Central Processing Unit to render the game graphics.
Positive aspects of this method mean superior HD quality, ultra high frame rate animations and impressive playability which one would normally only experience on high-end PC’s.
Neill Whyte, Head of Product Channels at Microgaming, explains: “We have shown over the last few months that Microgaming is committed to offering the strongest mobile gaming solutions in the market. With monthly new game roll-outs in both HTML5 and Mobile Air products, we have set a benchmark for innovation and technology in the industry. That’s why we currently have more than 60 brands around the world using our mobile content, which comprises of over 80 games on all platforms including HTML5, Mobile Air and Java, compatible with over 3,000 mobile and tablet devices.”
