B2B mobile gaming platform provider Nektan, has entered into a contract with News UK for the creation and operation of Sun Play, a new gaming product for The Sun newspaper in the UK.
Sun Play, which is due for launch this year, will be powered by Nektan’s Evolve platform combining play-for-free skill games along with a suite of real money games targeted at online players graduating from virtual currency games to real-money-gaming utilising their mobile devices.
Gary Shaw, Nektan’s executive chairman, said: “We are looking forward to working closely with the team at The Sun to bring the exciting new Sun Play mobile games to millions of Sun readers.This is a significant development for the Company.”

Entertaining our customers across different points of their media day is a key focus for our business.”
The agreement will operate under a net revenue sharing deal.
