The Glu Mobile – Probability plc mobile gambling partnership (see previous InfoPowa reports) has expanded its real-money mobile gambling portfolio to include a new Contract Killer mobile slots game, and has begun development on Glu-IP-branded mobile casino suites.
Contract Killer slot is immediately available to Probability customers in the UK and Glu-IP-branded mobile casino suites are expected to be available by Q3 2013.
“We were pleased with the initial player response to Samurai vs. Zombies Defense Slots and continue to see a significant long-term opportunity in the mobile real-money gambling market,” said Niccolo de Masi, Glu CEO Thursday.
“Our relationship with Probability allows us to offer high-quality mobile casino products in the UK and we look forward to extending these offerings as additional markets adjust regulations.”
“Our strategic relationship combines Glu’s popular social gaming IP with Probability’s innovative real-money mobile games,” said Charles Cohen, Probability CEO.
Glu-branded real-money mobile casino suites will be delivered through Probability’s white label program, and will feature intellectual property from Glu’s catalogue of original IP. In addition to Probability’s slots games, Glu casino suites plan to also offer Blackjack, Roulette, and Bingo.
The launch of the Contract Killer Slots marks the second real-money game Glu and Probability have published through the companies’ strategic relationship. The mobile slots game features intellectual property from Glu’s most popular franchise, Contract Killer, and is made available to mobile real-money gamers in the UK through Probability’s distribution network.
Originally launched in March 2011, Glu’s Contract Killer freemium franchise has been downloaded over 40 million times worldwide.
Glu original IP-branded casino games join Probability’s portfolio and plan to be offered through their network to gambling operators such as Paddy Power, William Hill, 888 and to Probability’s ‘white label’ partners. Probability provides a comprehensive operational role to Glu, with all games being delivered through its existing gambling licenses.
