Internet poker provider Full Tilt Poker has extended the reach of its popular Rush Poker format by introducing an Apple-compatible version.
The company claims that mobile players can now participate in live games of Rush Poker and win cash using Apple iOS devices, including iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
The site initially released Rush Poker for Android-enabled devices in November last year (see previous InfoPowa reports) but is now utilising HTML5 technology to run the online poker format straight from any Apple iOS device’s web browser without the need for additional plug-ins or installed applications.
The new technology will also run real-money and free-play games of Rush Poker straight from a computer’s Chrome or Safari browser and requires a 3G, 4G or wireless connection.
Full Tilt Poker.com has revealed that future versions will offer tournament formats.
“This revolutionary new poker format is designed to minimise your wait time between hands and keep you in the action at all times,” read a statement from FullTiltPoker.com
“Whether you’re playing a Rush Poker ring game or a Rush Poker tournament, you’ll join a large player pool and face a different table of opponents every hand you play. When you fold your hand, you’ll be rushed to a new table for the next hand immediately.”
