The UK sports spread betting company Sporting Index has announced the release of an upgraded version of its mobile site, with improvements developed in-house by the company’s London-based software engineering team.
A spokesman claimed Thursday that the new version offers a much faster user experience with slicker navigation tools thanks to the creation of drop down menus which give users more screen space. The improvements behind the back-end technology will help form the basis of the firm’s mobile development going forward, he said.
Sporting Index web and mobile manager Gregory Karaolis commented:
“Mobile continues to grow exponentially and consumers demand a platform with the content and depth of a traditional desktop website combined with the intuitive and elegant user experience offered by smart phones . We’ve worked hard to upgrade our mobile site so that it exceeds our clients’ expectations for speed, fluency and slickness across an extensive range of handsets and platforms.
“We are aware that not everyone wants to use apps so maintaining a strong mobile browser site will always be a key priority for us.”
