Veikkaus launches Android app

Finnish state owned lottery operator Veikkaus is now available in the Android market place, further expanding its reach into the mobile market.

The company delivered strong growth on the back of its Nokia smartphone and iPhone mobile applications of 21.2 percent and is targeting new mobile customers in the 18 to 39 year age groups.

The Veikkaus Android application is free to download and allows mobile users game play and the ability to check results.
